ZEN LANDSCAPE DESIGN
WHAT IS A GARDEN?
SENSES● We like an interactive garden where we see, touch, taste, listen, smell... that awakens the senses and evokes memories.
VALUE● Gardening boosts exchanges, talking, socialising and enjoying life.

LIFE ● From the evening to the morning, the garden changes, and the plants evolve over the years. What's more, the plants chosen are familiar, reassuring, and bring back memories.
A SOURCE OF PLEASURE ● Flowers to observe, to pick, to dry, lavender to make scented sachets, birdhouses, friends, and family join the party! Or let us enjoy alone the quietness of the passing time, in peace.
Our value working with our customers, what we do:
• Designing spaces that improve the health of the environment
We consciously design our projects with the utmost respect for the site and its ecosystem. In order to be able to garden without pesticides, and avoid tedious weeding, we will leave as little bare earth as possible. Covering plants or mulch will always be placed under shrubs. And we'll start by carefully observing the site and the treasures it contains. We try to keep most of the existing plants and trees. It may simply be necessary to change the way they are cared for to improve their appearance.
• Thinking about sober landscaping...with style!
That means low maintenance and watering requirements. So that gardening remains a pleasure! Why plant shrubs that can grow up to 4 m high and need to be pruned two or three times a year?
Why leave areas with no vegetation and have to weed them every month?
Why have plants that require frequent watering, need to be protected from the cold, or need to be weeded every month, need protection from the cold?
If these questions are not asked at the design stage, it is difficult to answer them later. We will be looking to minimize the amount of maintenance your garden will require. Go to our page contact to request a QUOTE.

Introducing ZEN LANDSCAPE

A biologist by training, landscaper, photographer, David Ruffieux came from France, where he studied the history of gardens until their development today. He is a former landscape graduate of the Academy de la Ferrière (CFP), in France.
"I am interested in plant systems, ecological designs, and sustainable maintenance of landscapes.
I specialize in concept development, garden counseling, green economy, natural resources, and innovative designs for creative and inspirational outdoor spaces. I have 5 years of extensive experience as an entrepreneur, in drawing garden plans, construction, and follow-up services and over 20 years in business project management.
I am also an avid naturalist who has traveled through Europe, Asia, South and North America. It is hard to tell which country I like best. I take those travels as wonderful opportunities to learn; I like visiting botanical gardens, and the nicest city parks and I love meeting with local botanists, agrologists, and farmers to learn more about the ecology of native plants. Voyages, both geographical and cultural, inspire me in my daily landscaping and gardening activities."

We take care of your project and take it to the next level, and we work hard and with creativity to get there.
